More than 50 delegates cycled 290 miles to this year’s BCO conference in Madrid and are closing in on their target to raise £30,000 for charity.
James Pellat, head of projects at Great Portland Estates and one of the organisers of the ride, said that camaraderie and teamwork had pulled the riders through extremes of weather, steep climbs and the longest distances many had cycled. “If everyone works together you can get through things,” he said.
Money raised will go to this year’s BCO conference charity, the Willow Foundation. The riders have already raised £27,000. To make a donation click here.
