PopUp Britain, the retail arm of national enterprise campaign StartUp Britain, is to make its debut at The Mall Camberley.
The Capital & Regional-managed shopping centre has agreed to provide a shop for the initiative, which supports high street entrepreneurs.
The pop-up will open on 5 June and run for six weeks. Every two weeks new retailers will take space.
Mark Bourgeois, managing director for shopping centres at CapReg, said: “The retail landscape is changing, traditional lease lengths are getting shorter and the provision of pop-up stores is becoming increasingly popular as landlords work to ensure they are best using their space and meeting evolving customer demands.
“PopUp Britain’s approach very much fits with our own annual campaign ‘The Retail Factor’, which is designed to support budding retail entrepreneurs. We hope that by providing these businesses with a chance to occupy a unit in a centre with strong footfall it will allow them to grow their business by building their customer base and brand awareness.”
