Forshaw Land has secured planning consent to convert a Greater Manchester derelict church into a 83-bed student accommodation scheme.

The developer has been given the go ahead to convert the grade-II listed Holy Trinity Church in Bolton town centre.

The property has not been used for some 20 years.

Construction on the Hattrell DS One-designed project is due to begin in August, with completion expected in 2014.
