Upmarket furniture retailer Dwell, which has 23 shops, has ceased trading with the appointment of administrators expected early next week.
Dwell had plans to expand to 52 branches by 2014 when Key Capital Partners took a £5m stake in 2010. Talks with “a number of interested parties” have collapsed. Dwell has lined up Duff & Phelps as administrator. Dwell’s stores are primarily in London and the South East.
