Hines and Oaktree aid Maxis scheme

US-based Hines and Oaktree are poised to put the Maxis office scheme in Bracknell, South East England, out of administration.

The pair are understood to have gone under offer on the site for £20m (€22.9m).

The scheme consists of two vacant office buildings totalling 18,580 m², together with planning consent for another building, within a campus setting.

Maxis was developed in 2009, and in October 2011 Grant Thornton, joint administrators of Terrace Hill’s joint venture Two Orchards, appointed Colliers International and Jones Lang LaSalle to sell the asset.
