Goodman is set to build a 330,000 sq ft parcel hub for Geopost Group at the Hinckley Commercial Park in the East Midlands after the project received planning consent.
The hub will help Geopost subsidiary DPD to meet growing demand, which is being driven by and increase in internet shopping.
The parcel delivery specialist has seen sales rise 50% since the onset of the recession.
The deal was subject to the project receiving detailed planning consent.
Goodman owns the site and is developing the shed on behalf of Geopost.
DPD is wholly owned by France’s La Poste, which is one of the largest postal groups in Europe.
