DTZ wins Stockport regen letting role

Muse Developments has appointed DTZ as letting agent on the regeneration of the Grand Central area in Stockport.

As part of the redevelopment, eight office buildings have been proposed totalling 400,000 sq ft, alongside a 1,000 space car park and a hotel.

The scheme was acquired by Stockport council in 2010, with Muse appointed development partner in 2012.

Phase one is under way, involving the car park construction, forward funded by Canada Life for completion in 2014.

The second phase will begin once this is completed.

DTZ is to provide development and letting advice.
