Heath house trustees resign

Two Sir Edward Heath Charitable Foundation trustees have resigned over the future of the former prime minister’s Salisbury, Wiltshire, home.

Sir Edward wanted the £5m property, Arundells, to open as a museum and his former private secretary, Peter Batey, has led a campaign to keep it open. The charity decided this was not financially feasible and applied to sell it.
