Frankfurt’s Industria Wohnen has acquired a residential portfolio comprising 1,100 units located in Dresden Leipzig, Potsdam, Mainz and Wiesbaden from a Scandinavian fund.
The majority of the units, about 800, will be integrated into Industria’s Spezialfund Wohnen Deutschland II. The remaining 300 units were acquired for Industria’s privatising business.
The Wohnen Deutschland II fund is aimed at institutional investors and invests primarily in existing properties in metropolises in Germany. The fund has a target of €250m.
