Edinburgh-based Lomond Capital has bought south Manchester estate agency chain Thornley Groves for an undisclosed sum.
Lomond, chaired by a former senior partner of law firm DLA Piper, will keep Thornley’s owners – Michael Groves and Jason Watkin – with the business.
The Altrincham-based practice boasted revenues of £4.1m last year and has 80 employees.
Mr Groves will become chairman of Lomond Group in Manchester, while Mr Watkin will become chief executive.
