Edinburgh-based developer Miller Developments has lodged plans to revive a stalled site in Chester, replacing office uses with student accommodation.
Miller is planning a Young and Gault Architects-designed 408-bed student scheme with 50 parking spaces over three sites in the city’s Garden Quarter.
The site consists of three lots, known as Tower Wharf , which are largely vacant brownfield land except for a derelict two-storey brick warehouse.
The 1.5-acre site has permission dating back to 2007 for a number of commercial uses and 153 homes which were never built.
Miller’s new scheme would see 131,400 sq ft of student housing built.
