Hammerson’s former director of its London office group, John Mulqueen is joining CBRE Global Investors.
CBRE GI has appointed Mulqueen as senior director, head of value-add in the UK. He will oversee the execution of various business plans.
The appointment comes three months after Mulqueen left Hammerson after a decade, where most recently he was responsible for the central London office portfolio. He left shortly after the company received its final payment for its £518m office portfolio from Brookfield Office Properties.
Jean Lamothe, CBRE GI’s head of value add investments EMEA, said: “We see several opportunities in the value-add space in the UK market and John will undoubtedly bring valuable experience to the team, providing an additional layer of expertise to our platform.”
