Japanese firm Honda is close to agreeing a new headquarters at Commercial Estates’ Reflex office development in Bracknell, Berkshire.
Estates Gazette understands the company is in talks to take around 60,000 sq ft at the scheme on a 10-year lease, at a rent of between £12 and £15 per sq ft.
It would relocate next year when its lease for 83,000 sq ft at Heathrow Approach expires.
The activity follows a busy third quarter in the Thames Valley, where take-up hit 1m sq ft, according to Lambert Smith Hampton. The figure was 64% higher than Q3 2012.
CBRE is advising Honda; Fryer Commercial, Hanover Green and Savills are letting agents on Reflex.
All parties declined to comment.
