DTZ has powered to the top of Estates Gazette Leeds office agents league table.
The firm signed tenants for 188,000 sq ft in 23 deals in the 12 months to the end of July 2013, continuing a steady climb that saw it secure third place last year and sixth place in 2011.
DTZ was boosted to the top spot by a handful of deals at Broadgate, The Headrow, including the year’s largest deal, the 76,000 sq ft signing to the Yorkshire Building Society.
CBRE secured second place, with last year’s winner JLL at number three.
Overall, disposals in Leeds were up by 21% and the city, unlike regional rivals, managed to grow its average deal size to nearly 5,000 sq ft.
