Cordea Savills poaches from LSH

Cordea Savills has appointed Lambert Smith Hampton head of research and strategy Dr Ljiljana Macdonald as a director.

Macdonald has a mandate to develop client relationships with European institutions and create investment propositions to meet their requirements. She will report to Nick Hayward, director of institutional business.

Prior to LSH she was an investment adviser at Halkum DOO, where she provided strategic advice to clients looking to invest in Europe and was involved in capital raising. Previously, she was an assistant portfolio manager for Real Estate Global Fund of Funds at UBS Global Asset Management.

She started her real estate career at DTZ as an analyst and latterly as an associate director providing strategic investment advice.

Hayward said: “Ljiljana’s broad-ranging experience in property investment management, both as an adviser and as a principal, means that she is well placed to develop investment solutions that meet our clients’ demand.

Macdonald added: “With its focus on investment performance and clients, Cordea Savills is in a strong position to continue its current robust growth to become one of the leading international real estate investment managers.”

Macdonald is a member of the Investment Property Forum and of the Society of Property Researchers.
