De Mello to leave CBRE

Jonathan De Mello, CBRE’s head of retail consultancy, is to leave the firm.

The senior director’s departure comes more than three years after he joined CBRE.

De Mello has advised a raft of landlords and retailers on their property strategies.

De Mello was hired in April 2010 from Experian, where he was a director of retail property. He brought a team of consultants and analysts with him.

He has worked as a specialist consultant in the retail and property sectors for more than a decade.

Phil Cann, head of UK retail at CBRE, said: “We can confirm that Jonathan De Mello is leaving the business and will be on garden leave for six months.

“We would like to thank Jonathan for his contribution whilst he has been with us.”
