A scheme to convert a Middlesbrough office block into student accomodation has been conditionally approved by Middlesborough council.
The 230-bed Corporation Road plan was drawn up by DMS Architecture for Pontefract’s Beaumont Morgan Developments late last year. Fortis Developments will carry out the internal refurbishment and the flats will be used by the University of Teeside.
The Rede House block was turned into offices in 2004 in a town centre regeneration project.
