LondonMetric has recruited British Land retail director Andrew Smith.
Smith was the head of investment portfolio management at the REIT, which he joined through its takeover of Pillar Property.
He will be reunited with his former Pillar colleagues at LondonMetric, which include chief executive Andrew Jones.
The move comes after Stewart Little and Jeremy Bishop left the retail specialist to set up their own business last month.
The pair were originally part of the London & Stamford prior to its merger with Metric Property in 2012.
Charles Maudsley, head of retail for British Land, said: “Andrew leaves with our best wishes. He has helped create real strength and depth in the retail team and is looking for the challenge of a smaller company.”
Smith added: “I leave with fond memories of eight years at British Land and am looking forward to a new, fresh challenge.”
