Crêpeaffaire, the savoury and sweet crêpes retailer, has added Cambridge to its expanding portfolio.
It has agreed a 10-year lease at 33 Bridge Street with the landlord, the Master Fellows and Scholars of the College of St John the Evangelist.
It will pay an annual rent of £37,000 on the 1,000 sq ft shop close to Magdalene and St John’s College.
Crêpeaffaire was launched in 2004 to plug a gap in the food market. It plans to open five new stores a year. With the latest letting, it will have 10 stores including its first overseas site in Hamburg, Germany. Target locations include Covent Garden, Camden, South Bank and South Kensington in central London, as well as Bath, Brighton, Guildford, Manchester, Liverpool and York.
Savills advised the Master Fellows and Scholars of the College of St John the Evangelist; Prime Retail represents Crêpeaffaire.
