CBRE has poached a director from South West retail consultancy Macarthur Wilson.
Chris Thomas, director at Bristol-based Macarthur Wilson, will join CBRE in March as a senior director in the high street agency team.
He leaves Macarthur Wilson after three years. Prior to this he was an equity partner at Hartnell Taylor Cook. Existing clients include Primark and Land Securities.
Phil Cann, head of UK retail, CBRE, said: “Chris is a market leader in the sector and will bring his invaluable knowledge of retailers to broaden our senior management team.”
Thomas said: “This is an exciting opportunity for me after nearly 20 years of working for niche retail businesses. With the increased confidence we are seeing from occupiers and investors, this is an opportune time to work with the market leaders for retail advice in the UK.”
He will be based in CBRE’s Bristol office.
