Westleigh to build on brownfield

Up to 2,200 new homes are to be built across central England on mainly brownfield sites by Leicester-based Westleigh Developments.

The developer is now part of the Homes and Communities Agency’s (HCA) delivery panel for the Midlands and northern regions and has such has won £45m from the HCA’s £4.5bn Affordable Homes programme.

The homes will be brought forward in partnership with a range of registered providers spanning 26 local authority areas. Private finance will also raised by Westleigh’s partners, plus additional capital investment from locals councils.
