Ceva sweeps into Derby

Ceva Logistics has struck a deal to take one of the largest warehouse schemes in the East Midlands.

The supply chain specialist has taken 200,000 sq ft at units 1 and 2 at Derby Distribution Centre on a five-year lease. Quoting rents at the building were £2.95 per sq ft.

GVA director David Willmer said: “There is a lack of available stock in the market and with deals of this magnitude sweeping up remaining units, it won’t be long before we are facing a drought of good-quality industrial sites.”

GVA and Innes England are joint letting agents for DDC; Ceva Logistics was unrepresented.
