Hewlett-Packard has struck an off-market deal to relocate to Derby’s Pride Park.
The computer giant has taken the 13,000 sq ft building at Centro Place on a 10-year lease at a rent of circa £14.50 per sq ft. The building was previously occupied by business advisory firm PKF Cooper Parry
Innes England advised PKF Cooper Parry on the deal and also on its forthcoming move to its new office in Castle Donington, which follows the announcement that the company will merge its three regional offices in Derby, Leicester and Nottingham. PKF Cooper Parry’s offices in Leicester and Nottingham are now on the market.
CBRE represented Hewlett-Packard. CBRE director Ashley Hancox said: “HP has had a base in the city for more than 20 years and remaining in Derby was hugely important to it in its relocation plans. HP was very keen to take on a visible location. The premises at Centro Place are perfect.”
