CBRE Birmingham promotes a dozen

CBRE has promoted 12 staff in its Birmingham office with Adrian Willet and David Smith promoted to senior directors in the development team and national team respectively.


Willet (pictured), who joined CBRE in 2012, heads the firm’s Midlands development team. He advises on the sale and acquisition of development land and private rented sector-led investment opportunities for a range of landowners, developers, property funds and financiers in the residential sector.


Smith has board responsibility for all operational matters for CBRE’s 10 offices outside of London, managing strategic development, business and financial planning.


Martin Guest, managing director of CBRE’s Birmingham office, said: “We started the year with a number of high-profile hires in the Birmingham office and such a spate of promotions is further testament to the strength and talent of our team.


“All of these employees have been with us for a number of years and these promotions are a fitting reflection of their hard work and commitment to CBRE.”


Other promotions include five employees promoted from associate director to director. They include Eleanor Deeley, development; Charlotte Butcher, global corporate services; Alison Grunstein, valuation; John Marsden, rating; and Paul Muldoon, engineering services.


Gareth Bennett and Fodos Gregoriou, global corporate services; Helen Palgrave, property and asset management; and Daniel Read, engineering services team, have been promoted from senior surveyor to associate director.


John Roovers has been promoted to senior surveyor in the rating team.
