Ladies make a triple bid to reach the top

A cohort of Birmingham women are donning their hiking boots to scale the UK’s three tallest mountains in 24 hours as part of a fundraising challenge.


The seven-strong group is geared up ?to climb to the top of Ben Nevis in Scotland; Scafell Pike in England; and Snowdon in Wales, in the Three Peaks Challenge.


The group comprises surveyor ?Natalie Beasley and valuer Jennifer Pearce from ES Group; Anne-Louise Lawrence from Eversheds; Sarah Rimell and Louise Fox from BDO; Elizabeth Dunbar from Duff & Phelps; and Laura Longman from DWF.


The group heads off on 16 May. They hope to raise more than £3,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.


The money will be put towards the hospital’s £4m Children’s Cancer Centre appeal.


Challenge organiser Beasley, said: “We really hope that this final push will help the hospital get even closer to its £4m goal.”
