Capital & Regional has completed the refinancing of the Mall Fund with a £350m senior loan from Morgan Stanley.
The investor and fund manager, which owns the Mall, Luton, also secured a £25m capex facility from the bank as part of the package, which will allow for the repayment of bondholders in the existing CMBS.
The Mall Fund is owned jointly by C&R and its manager Aviva alongside external investors. Rothschild advised on the refinancing.
