Leslau secures AIM debut
Nick Leslau’s and Sir Tom Hunter’s Secure Income Real Estate Investment Trust closed up 22% on its first day of trading on AIM. The Prestbury-managed group, which has a market capitalisation of £293m, raised £15m through the placing of new shares.
AgFe wins mandate from LV=
AgFe has won a £1bn senior debt mandate from retirement specialist LV=. It will originate fixed-rate, 5-20 year, bilateral loans ranging from £10m ?up to £100m. The mandate has a four-year investment period.
Cerberus to buy Avon book
Cerberus Capital Management is buying the £536m Project Avon UK commercial loan book from Lloyds Banking Group. ?It is paying around £352m – ?a discount of close to 34% – ?for the real estate loans. ?The transaction is expected ?to close in H2.
Oz fund names TH Real Estate
AustralianSuper, the A$75bn (£41.5bn) pension fund, has appointed TH Real Estate as investment manager for its central London office investment strategy. The ?“case by case basis” mandate does not have a fixed size. ?It also has a five-year retail mandate from the Australian giant.
Barclays in Tritax double
Barclays has provided Tritax Big Box REIT with two senior loans of £49.3m and £12.2m respectively. The facilities reflecting LTVs of 59% and 45% each are secured on the distribution centres in Leicestershire and Didcot.
