Nama readies €110m retail parks portfolio

Finance: Nama is understood to be readying a €110m (£89.2m) portfolio of Irish retail parks for the market.

The multi-borrower portfolio is tipped to include assets at the Poppyfields Retail Park in Clonmel, County Tipperary, and the M1 Retail Park in Drogheda, County Louth, and is set to go on sale later this month.

DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald and CBRE have been appointed to sell the portfolio.

This follows on from Nama’s launch of the €130m Project Acorn in April, a retail portfolio made up of the Showgrounds, Clonmell; Blackpool Shopping Centre , Cork; and Millfield, Ballbrigging, Co Dublin, which is anchored by Ireland’s largest Tesco.

Earlier this week the bad bank brought the mixed residential and commercial €160m Project Orange to market. The portfolio is made up of Beacon South Quarter (€61m), Charlestown (€38m), Lansdowne Gate (€46m) and Bakers Yard (€15m), all of which are in Dublin.
