New Era caps Milton Keynes let

Major League Baseball cap manufacturer New Era and US electronics firm Ingram Micro have signed prelets for nearly a third of Benson Elliot’s CBX II scheme in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Fortune 500 firm Ingram Micro has signed for 30,000 sq ft and New Era, which produces more than 35m caps a year, will take 20,000 sq ft.

Both have agreed 10-year leases at rents in excess of £16 per sq ft.

The lettings bring occupancy at the 150,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme to circa 80%.

Benson Elliot was advised by XLB, CBRE, Bidwells, and Louch Shacklock; Brown & Lee acted for New Era; CBRE represented Ingram.
