VMware completes Staines let

Flow-Staines-570

Software company VMware has completed a deal for 62,000 sq ft across two buildings at the Flow scheme in Staines, Surrey.

As tipped by Estates Gazette in May, Rockspring Property Investment Managers – in conjunction with development partner Exton Estates – has let the development to VMware on a 10-year lease.

The company will pay £33 per sq ft.

Katie McDermott, assistant director at Rockspring, said: “Our decision to undertake a speculative South East office development in 2011 was a calculated risk. We foresaw that grade A office space in the Thames Valley would be undersupplied, and subsequently in demand from occupiers.”

CBRE and Strutt & Parker advised Rockspring; DTZ acted for VMware.
