Phil Irons has stepped down from his role as partner and UK investment chief at Benson Elliot.
He leaves after eight years at the investment company to “pursue other interests”, said Marc Mogull, managing partner at Benson Elliot.
James Jakeman, principal, who has been working alongside Irons and overseeing investments in the UK, will take over the role.
Mogull said: “He [Irons] will continue to act as a consultant to the company and leaves the partnership with our deep thanks for the significant contribution he has made over the past eight years to ensure Benson Elliot is the success it is today. We wish him all the best for the future.”
