Reading’s Apex Plaza fully let

M&G Real Estate has let a further 14,769 sq ft of office space at its Apex Plaza complex in central Reading, meaning the scheme is now fully let.


Existing tenants CommVault and Aldermore Bank took 7,619 sq ft and 7,150 sq ft respectively.


CommVault, a data management software company, has signed a seven-year lease for the fourth floor of Block B, having originally taken 10 years for 20,500 sq ft. Both leases will expire in 2021.


Aldermore has taken a 10-year lease on its additional space, bringing its total on the first floor to 15,270 sq ft.


Other tenants include Barclays, Ernst & Young, HSBC, and Osborne Clarke.


M&G Real Estate asset management associate director Aaron Pope said: “We are delighted that Aldermore and CommVault are both expanding within Apex Plaza and that the scheme is now fully let.”


M&G Real Estate was advised by CBRE and Campbell Gordon. CommVault was represented by Hicks Baker and Aldermore represented themselves.
