Gloucestershire-based MF Freeman Group has completed a deal to buy a chunk of the Cadbury factory near Bristol for a £50m office-led development.
It paid Taylor Wimpey around £3m for three red-brick 1920s buildings on the 222-acre Keynsham site.
It is planning to deliver 120,000 sq ft of offices and a 60-bed care home. Taylor Wimpey will retain the remainder of the site, where there is planning permission for a £200m Barton Willmore-designed project comprising 700 homes.
BNP Paribas Real Estate acted for Taylor Wimpey; MF Freeman was unrepresented.
