The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority has appointed GVA to advise on its property disposal programme across its 17-site estate.
The NDA was set up in 2004 with a £3.2bn annual budget to decommission and clean up the UK’s nuclear plants.
Included in the estate are the Sellafield complex, former Magnox sites and facilities at Sizewell, alongside developments such as the 100,000 sq ft office project at Whitehaven, Cumbria.
GVA’s contract is for between three and five years with potential extensions.
