A trio of lenders have participated in the syndication of Citi’s £300m facility secured against the Walbrook Building, EC4.
MetLife has taken a £100m senior slice of circa £235m of debt, which has been syndicated by the investment bank. A further £30m senior portion was bought by Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank. The £105m junior portion was offloaded to Blackrock.
Citi issued the five-year facility with a loan-to-value of around 75% secured against the 445,000 sq ft building to landlords Ares and Delancey in May.
