Worcester city council has given the green light to a 220,000 sq ft redevelopment of Salmon Harvester’s Cathedral Plaza, Worcester.
The overhaul, designed by Leslie Jones Architecture, will include the addition of seven new restaurants, remodelling shops, a gym and a food store. Plans will also see a new public square created in front of the shopping centre.
Brian Tracey, director at Leslie Jones, said: “Our approach ensures that Cathedral Plaza will remain relevant to its historical context, while bringing a modern shopping and dining destination to the city.”
Construction is expected to begin early next year, with the shops and restaurants slated for completion by spring 2016.
