Steven Medway has been appointed as managing director – trading environment at the New West End Company.
Medway is outgoing chairman of the Oxford Street Management Group and his most recent role was as Gap Store director for its West End stores.
At the NWEC he will be responsible for managing a number of projects to bring further improvements to the district.
He joins at the end of the month and will report to NWEC chief executive Richard Dickinson.
Dickinson said: “A new senior management team further strengthens our resolve for the West End to remain the world’s favourite retail destination. Steven’s appointment ensures our agenda on improvement will be focused to engage all of our stakeholders on behalf of our members.”
