Bellway Homes has lodged plans to redevelop the north London magistrates court where serial killer Dennis Nilsen once appeared in the dock.
The house builder has submitted John Thompson & Partners-designed proposals to Haringey council to redevelop the former Highgate Magistrates Court, Highgate police station and Telfer House, N6, into 82 homes.
The court closed its doors in December 2012 as part of a wider estate rationalisation programme after 56 years of service.
Bellway bought the vacant freehold one-acre site from the Metropolitan Police and the Ministry of Justice at the end of April for £15m.
Savills is advising on planning.
