Cameron Fraser, TH Real Estate’s head of balanced funds, is leaving the company to take up a new role at Brockton Capital.
He has been appointed as an associate partner.
Fraser manages the £144.6m Henderson UK Property Fund, and will leave TH Real Estate at the end of the year. He joined Henderson Global investors in 2009, having previously worked at ING Real Estate.
He will continue to manage HUPF until his departure, Mike Sales, managing director, Europe at TH Real Estate said.
“We have commenced a search for Cam’s replacement, with the aim of appointing a very strong internal or external candidate who can continue to deliver the excellent performance the Fund has delivered. Cam is a good friend and leaves with our very best wishes for the future and a big thank you for his commitment to our property business over the past five years” said Sales.
Brockton Capital co-founder David Marks said: “Cameron brings a wealth of real estate experience across a wide range of sectors to the role and will help Brockton as it expands and looks to an acquisitive 2015.” The appointment follows Brockton Capital securing around £450m of equity for its third UK fund, putting it on track for a record fundraise of around £750m once the third fund closes in a few months.
