US property company Greystar has hired a Thames Valley Housing director to oversee its private rented sector ambitions in the UK.
Mark Allnutt, commercial director at Thames Valley Housing and founding director of the firm’s Fizzy Living subsidiary, will join Greystar as a senior director.
Mark Hafner, senior managing director for Greystar’s investment management division said: “Greystar is determined to become a major player in the PRS space in the UK.”
The company wants to acquire and develop a significant portfolio of private rented sector properties in London through ground-up development and joint venture partnerships. In addition, the firm will continue investing in student accommodation space.
