Innes England and Savills have been appointed joint retail agents for a trio of city centre and out-of-town retail schemes in Corby, Northamptonshre.
Helical has instructed the firms for Willow Place and Corby town shopping centre and Oasis retail park on the outskirts of the East Midlands’ town. The schemes total square footage amounts to more than 700,000 sq ft.
Paul Watson, director at Innes England’s Leicester office, said: “Corby is a town on the up; it’s been the subject of significant investment over recent years and is growing rapidly, with the UK’s largest number of new homes under construction.”
Corby draws a footfall of more than 160,000 shoppers a week. Existing retailers include H&M, Primark, TK Maxx, River Island, Burton and Costa. Helical’s ownership covers the high street units in the town centre and also the Oasis Retail Park, which means the agents are able to offer a range of different options to interested parties either on a long term or flexible basis.
