The former Majestyk nightclub in Leeds, which has undergone a major refurbishment by Rushbond, has been severely damaged by fire.
Rushbond bought the 1920s block in 2010 and converted the 35,000 sq ft space for leisure use, which it had been marketing to let.
Around 50 firefighters were called to the blaze, which destroyed large parts of the building’s roof.
Originally built as a cinema and restaurant it occupies a prominent corner site opposite Leeds rail station.
