Chinese investors target foreign property

Investors from China have become the largest buyers of property in London, New York City and Australia.

A stagnant market in China is encouraging investors to seek better returns abroad. Research from real estate services company Colliers International showed that outbound property investment from mainland China has grown from less than $70m in 2008 to $16bn in 2013.
