KKR signs JP Morgan Debt specialist

KKR-HQ-Alamy-THUMBKohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co has added a JP Morgan debt specialist to its London-based real estate team.

The private equity firm has appointed Rayon Taylor as an associate. He moves over from his role in real estate finance and special opportunities at the investment bank.

Guillaume Cassou, head of KKR’s European real estate team, said: “There is no specific real estate credit initiative at this stage in Europe, but it is important, as we build the team, to have a wide skillset.”

KKR has also confirmed the appointment of former London & Regional director Meenal Devani. The group closed its first real estate fund, KKR Real Estate Partners Americas, with $1.2bn (£750m) of commitments in December 2013. It has a mandate to invest in the US, where its HQ is in New York (pictured), and Europe, but is also fundraising for its debut European property vehicle.
