St Modwen gets Tamworth consent

Centurion-Park-TamworthRegeneration specialist St Modwen has won outline planning consent for a new 200,000 sq ft extension to Centurion Park in Tamworth, North Warwickshire.

The new development will build on the success of Centurion Park, located south-west of junction 10 of the M42, and will meet demand for much-needed stock in the area. Centurion Park is owned by multiple freeholders and is fully let.

Jonathan Green, development surveyor at St Modwen, said: “The site is now ready and new units can be built to meet the requirements of occupiers looking for well-located space. The first stage of the development will be of significant benefit in meeting the growing demand for high quality industrial stock.”

St Modwen has been investing in Tamworth for more than 20 years, having completed the first phase of development at Centurion Park in 1994. The area has since grown, and with a number of other developments capitalising on the location, it is now recognised as a logistics and distribution hub for the Midlands.
