IM Properties has appointed new agents on 55 Colmore Row following its £33.5m purchase of the Birmingham office block from Kames Capital.
CBRE and Savills will replace Knight Frank and Colliers International as letting agents to market a refurbishment of the building. IM plans to spend £28m refurbishing the 136,000 sq ft building and extending it by 20,000 sq ft.
John Hammond, UK investment director at IM said: “We aim to deliver a new 160,000 sq ft scheme in mid-2016.”
Law firm Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co will surrender its lease on the property in January to make way for the refurbishment.
