Birmingham Property Services, the commercial property arm of Birmingham city council, has shortlisted five bidders for a development opportunity at Louisa Ryland House in the city centre.
Opus Land, Bruntwood, Graftongate Developments, Bridges & Evenacre and Seven Capital are all said to be shortlisted by BPS to acquire the 93,000 sq ft office block on the corner of Newhall Street and Edmund Street as a major development opportunity.
BPS is selling the long leasehold to the vacant Grade II listed building for circa £8m. Any new development proposed for the site would need planning consent.
A decision is expected shortly.
