Virgin Money revives float plan

Virgin Money is to float on the stock market with a valuation of £1.5-£2bn by the end of this month.

The company, which bought Northern Rock in 2011, is part-owned by Sir Richard Branson and US billionaire Wilbur Ross. It postponed plans to float three weeks ago because of difficult market conditions.
