The archbishop of one of Spain’s poorest areas has been reported to the Pope after spending £1.2m on luxury upgrades to his seminary.
Archbishop Santiago Garcia Aracil presides over a diocese where unemployment for those aged 18-24 is 64%, but he spent the money on whirlpool baths and a spa.
