Enrique Peña Nieto, Mexico’s president, was caught in a fresh storm yesterday over claims of corruption involving his private residence.
New documents appear to show that the land on which the president’s private residence was built was bought with the help of businessman Juan Armando Hinojosa, who was subsequently awarded lucrative government infrastructure contracts.
